HOW WE INSTALL HDPE LINERS IN RESERVOIRS AND LAGOONS
To ensure our HDPE lining is installed correctly to provide a long-lasting solution, we follow the following steps:
- Our installation team
remove debris, large stonesand tree roots before the soil is compacted. - We then install the geotextile underlay. This layer features puncture-resistance properties to support the HDPE lining being positioned above.
- The HDPE lining is laid into
posistion and welded to ensure it is fully waterproof. - A geotextile overlay can be installed if required, or filling can now take place.
BENEITS OF INSTALLING HDPE LINING FOR RESERVOIRS AND LAGOONS
Installing our HDPE lining into your lagoon, reservoir, pond or other dirty water storage area will provide the following benefits:
- UV
stabilisation which absorbs UV radiation to reduce heat levels in the water 20 year life expectancy that makes it a long-lasing and cost-effective investment- High levels of resistance to root penetration and other forms of puncturing
- HDPE lining performs extremely well in extreme hot and cold temperatures
- The material is resistant to surface abrasion and can also be quickly repaired

Earth-built water areas require reliable and cost effective synthetic liners to provide long-term waterproofing solutions. Our high density polyethylene plastic (HDPE) lining can be used in a range of in-ground water environments, including reservoirs, irrigation lagoons, ponds, garden pools and many any other types of dirty water storage.
We have years of experience installing high quality geomembrane systems into a variety of locations around the UK. As long-standing and trusted suppliers of HDPE lining solutions, we are able to meet the specific requirements of any type of site. Our team work closely with land owners and contractors to install systems that are of the highest quality, while always maintaining ecological standards.
WHY YOU NEED HDPE LINERS FOR RESERVORS AND LAGOONS
The installation of lining for reservoirs, lagoons, pools and other types of water is to prevent water seepage into ground water, which could lead to contamination. Lining the base of the area with a HDPE geomembrane provides the perfect barrier between the soil and a mass body of fluids.
Reservoirs are exposed to ultraviolet rays for long periods of time and the geomembrane helps to prevent the loss of water. It also ensures the embankments and any other nearby structures are fully protected. Our HDPE lining solutions are not only extremely efficient, but cost effective, as they also come with a 20 year guarantee.
